As Jean Monnet professor of finance and business law, prof. Šime Jozipović focuses his work on the intersection of innovation and law as well as public law aspects of corporate operations. He has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences organized by entities like the University of Berlin, Sorbonne University or the Ministry of treasury of the USA. His scholarly contributions have been recognized through multiple awards in business law and tax law, including by the European Public Law Association.

Assistant Professor Stjepan Srhoj, Ph.D., specializes in industrial organization, entrepreneurship, innovation, and applied economics. He advises major public and private institutions, NGOs, and international clients.
He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Innsbruck and attended programs at the London School of Economics, Max Planck Institute, and Paris School of Economics. A Fulbright scholar, he conducted research at MIT and has been a visiting researcher at Princeton University and Bocconi University. Dr. Stjepan Gadžo
Dr. Stjepan Gadžo is an Associate Professor of Tax Law and Vice-Dean at the University of Rijeka Faculty of Law, specializing in international and EU taxation. His research focuses on cross-border individual and corporate taxation, earning him the European Academic Tax Thesis Award (2017) and the Croatian National Award for Science (2018). He collaborates with leading institutions including the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation, Örebro University, and the International Law Association.

Dr. Paško Burnać
Paško Burnać, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Split, specializing in public finance, fiscal policy, and local government finance. He has published extensively on taxation, fiscal consolidation, and expenditure structures in post-transition economies. His textbook Finances of Counties, Cities and Municipalities is widely adopted as a standard reference across Croatian universities.
Beyond academia, Dr. Burnać actively contributes to strategic economic development. He co-authored the Split Urban Agglomeration Strategy and is currently responsible for the financial analysis chapter of the City of Split Development Strategy 2030.

Dora has both practical experience in business administration with PriskaMed a leading private clinic in Croatia and academic experience through her participation in projects like iRISE_EU with the University of Split. Dora holds a Bacc. Degree in Psychology from the University of Worcester and a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Coventry University.
